Escondido adult softball
Part of what contributes to our fit city is the thriving community of adult sport leagues in San Diego. From softball to soccer, there is something for everyone to get out and play, year-round, all over town. Adult sports leagues are a great alternative to the gym if you are looking to mix up your fitness routine. They also provide a social, interactive way for you to end your day. They also range in competitiveness from mainly social to very serious.

Escondido residents are fortunate to live in a city with some fantastic parks, including Grape Day Park , Felicita County Park and its largest regional park: Kit Carson. Carson is best known for guiding Captain John C. The land on which the park was created was acquired by the City of Escondido in , after which acres were developed into the community park, and acres were set aside to preserve as natural habitat. Much like Grape Day, Kit Carson Park is a community gathering place where events take place and a variety of activities of interest to adults and children are available throughout the year. The park is also home to the Girl Scouts of America Program Center, a large outdoor amphitheater, picnic areas, a playground, a covered picnic shelter that can be reserved for birthday parties or other occasions, and lighted courts and fields for tennis, soccer, adult softball, and youth softball and baseball.
